About Our Flowers

At Maison, we aim to use locally produced, seasonal flowers as much as possible.

Seasonal and local flowers are grown naturally, without the need for excessive energy, water, and other resources required for greenhouse production or long-distance transportation. This reduces the carbon footprint and supports sustainable agriculture practices.

Choosing to use seasonal, local flowers supports small, independent growers in our community, contributing to the local economy and helping to preserve local agriculture.

This means for the seasonal bouquets sold online by Maison Canterbury, the blooms change depending on the time of year you are ordering. Using seasonal flowers encourages us to pay attention to the natural cycles of the environment and appreciate the beauty of each season. It also allows us to create unique and meaningful floral arrangements that reflect the natural beauty and diversity of our local environment.

We will always keep the colour scheme within the chosen bouquet design however, and create a gorgeous arrangement that exudes beauty and modern elegance.
